Infinity Cove Hire
At present our cove is painted using Rosco VFX green screen paint. Our infinity cove is a clean, green space with no horizon line. The lack of corners gives the impression that it goes on forever and consequently anything on it is perceived to be floating in space.
Properly lit an infinity cove creates a unique look that makes your product literally stand out. An advert shot on an infinity cove, such as the one at our studio, screams production values while being relatively cheap to produce.
The advantage of a sparse cove is it gives your audience nowhere else to look but at your product or message. You’ll be familiar with the many advert and videos that use this and many of them have been shot here in our studio. The infinity cove available to hire at our studio is L shaped and 38ft in length and 10.6ft in height you can find our floor plan here. The studio cove is generally chroma green but it can be repainted to any colour a fee. The cost includes our time and returning the cove to it’s original colour contact us for exact costings.
The infinity cove is the heart of our studio and the primary filming area; as such it is hired “pre-lit” to save you the time of deciding the correct lighting positions. Firther lights can be sued to light the subject at no extra charge.
The studio cove is always painted, free of charge, prior to your hire so it will always be clean. As you set up lighting or props for your shoot we can supply you with some overshoes so that the cove is pristine when you’re ready to pull the trigger on your camera for your first shot.
If you’d like to come and look at the infinity cove then contact the studio to arrange a viewing.
For video shoots the infinity cove is hired with a full lighting kit. This kit includes our complete range of lights that incude Arri’s, Dedo’s, Photonbeard’s, flourescent lights, Strands and many more. Our staggering amount of kit can be viewed on our Equipment page. What’s more our lights are already in position to enable you to get the best from our cove.
If you wish to use your own lights they can, of course, be used in place of ours, however we need to add a nominal fee for elctricity and request to inspect the lamps to ensure they are safe.
Below is a gallery of stills of the cove in action, you can also see it on our showreel pages.
